We all have a voice. Just as we all have a body.
It is one of the most mysterious, intimate, spiritual aspects of us. It gives away so much of who we are.
And yet, so many resist and even hate their own voice. Our voices, especially as women, have been silenced by layers of shame and conditioning about how there is a “right way” to sound or express our truth.
There is an embodied path home to yourself, and your voice is a direct line on that path.
This 4 week course is for women who want to deepen into the power of their voice in work or life, and unlock the powerful feminine expression their voice is coded for.

Whenever I hear a woman say “I hate my voice” I feel crushed. And I hear it too often…
It seems to be a socially acceptable place that self-rejection lingers, no matter how much progress we make with body positivity.

Voice Alchemy is a 4-week journey to explore and deepen your relationship with your voice
Your voice is holds the unique frequencies of your wisdom and gifts. This is not a course about the ‘right’ way to vocalise.
In Voice Alchemy, you will be invited into a deep encounter with your own voice: both the physical and the spiritual aspects. Because it is my belief that the vibrations of your voice contain guidance and wisdom uniquely meant for you. Nobody knows your voice better than you.
In this course, you will learn:
🌀 simple foundational voice work including daily exercises for caring for your vocal health, flexibility and strength
🌀 the voice and nervous system connection: how voice work can be a tool for self-regulation and healing
🌀 my unique vocal philosophy blending my spiritual studies with over 12 years as a professional vocalist, theatre director and workshop facilitator
You will also be invited to encounter:
⚡️ the shame and conditioning that have been placed over your voice and the voices of women in your lineage
⚡️ how working with the physical voice can influence how your “figurative” voice flows and is received in the world
⚡️ a new way of relating to your voice: not just as a tool or an asset, but as a line of contact to your soul

When I was in my late teens, beginning my professional training and honing my craft as a singer and performer, I received a potent download one night that has never left me:

My voice is not just a tool, or a commodity, but a being with consciousness of its own. Weighing in. Casting a vote. Showing me things my conscious mind wasn’t seeing…
I experimented with this idea as I furthered my spiritual studies, alongside my performance training and career throughout my 20s, and the spiritual connection with my voice continued to deepen and reveal.
Now, I see my voice as a direct line to my soul. Now, my voice is one of my greatest allies and guides, in art, business and life.
And if my voice isn’t on board with something, it won’t fly. I don’t mess with her wisdom!

Often, people tell me that my voice is what attracted them to my work. That my voice has a calming or healing effect. That my voice lets people know I’m for real.
I don’t think the sacred relationship I enjoy with my voice is just down to my talent, or because some people have ‘special’ voices.
I believe that with the right attitude, de-conditioning, practices and devotion anyone can develop this connection, allowing more of their soul’s beauty to be heard and felt through their voice.
There is a reason that humans have always connected to God through chanting, song, and vocal declarations. The frequency of voice is a bridge.
Your voice communicates so much beyond words in your work. Your voice is how people feel you.

No, Voice Alchemy is completely beginner friendly. It will offer a unique perspective that is not available anywhere else, which will be useful both for total beginners and those with plenty of vocal training and experience

The sessions will include a portion of teaching, some practical exercises to practice along to, and space for deep self-reflection.
There will be opportunities to bravely use your voice in the session and practice being heard but this is optional.

No, the sessions will be recorded and available to replay for up to 3 months.
However you are encouraged to attend live and use the opportunities to practice with your voice in a supportive space, to get the most out of the experience.

Sharing your voice is one of the most vulnerable things you can do. You are not alone and whatever fears you have will be treated tenderly and with care.

This course is not specifically oriented towards results - instead, I invite you approach this with curiosity, as an opportunity to encounter a part of yourself in a new way…
But if you hold intentions to be more fully expressed and bold, feel more confident speaking and communicating in your work, sell or teach with more authenticity, this course will be a wonderful support to that.
