EROS in CREATION
When I was 17, I asked God for a boyfriend.
God sent me a black Moleskin notebook with thick cream pages,
and a poetry open mic that took place on a Sunday night.

I sat in that pub dazzled by the poets as they each got up to read, and then I cycled home and wrote my first poem.
[Well I technically wrote the first poem in my Blackberry notes app and later bought the moleskin, to be like the poets I saw on stage.]

One night a few days later, I noticed the boyfriend yearning had gone (albeit temporarily, let’s be real)
That night, I didn’t feel like a ‘single teenage girl’ as I scribbled down words on those cream pages. I felt whole.
I wrote:
‘I asked for a boyfriend
And I got poetry instead’
This was the first time I experienced the ✨inner erotic union✨ through my own creativity.
And I’ve been obsessed with it ever since…
Eros in Creation is a 3-part class series that will explore the INNER UNION of masculine and feminine aspects in creative practice.
In class you will gain an embodied understanding of Eros in the context of our creative practice, the interweaving of sexuality and creativity, and how to ignite (and handle) more aliveness in your art.

About Work in Progress Circles
WIP circles are the bread and butter of the Bubble community. A warm, supportive space to share what you’re working on twice a month with other artists who are doing the work.
Share up to 5 minutes of whatever you’re working on, or simply talk through an idea that hasn’t yet come to fruition. The circle will ask you questions, and offer feedback if requested.
Results from regular sharing are exponential and magical - WIP circle is like sunlight for your creative seedlings 🌱
